Mini-Tennis week in School holidays
(17th May)

We are hoping to arrange for a week long Mini-tennis activity for 4-11 year olds in the North Hall in the mornings during the school holidays.  The actual week will depend on how many children want to come along and can make it in the week.

We will have a professional coach running the activity (who is Criminal Records Bureau checked to work with children) and it is likely the youngsters will be grouped by age so that the younger ones won’t have to be present all morning each day.  All standards of playing ability will be catered for.

If you would like to  express an interest (without commitment at this stage) in your child/children coming along can you let me have a note as follows:-

1. Ages and numbers of children

2. The dates when they won’t be able to come during the school holiday period.

Obviously this information will be kept private and once we have settled on the dates it will be deleted.

Some parents expressed an interest at the recent opening of the North Hall rebuilding programme so we have their information but not everyone’s dates, so if you did express an interest could you remind us of dates of non availability.

Loxwood Community Arts

Loxwood Community Arts is a newly formed group of artists, musicians, craftspeople and arts and music enthusiasts who seek to foster the development of a creative arts presence in Loxwood.  The refurbished North Hall will be the new home of Loxwood Community Arts events and activities, some of which will include an adult choir, art exhibitions and workshops, open painting mornings and dance.
Whether a professional artist seeking a venue to display your work, or an amateur looking for instruction, a local artisan with an unusual craft or a vocalist seeking to share your voice, Loxwood Community Arts is interested in hearing from you.  
During the months of March, April and May, Loxwood Community Arts will be seeking interest from the community,
